If it wasn't there it was in Guthrie but check with OK State first. It was 20 years so I'm sure things have changed but at that time they were very helpful.. I got copies of his records and the records for his three sons that occured in the next land run.They do include the signature of the person and I think they are interesting.I got the homestead packet, a copy of the roll book with his name, a copy of the newspaper article with his intent to settle the land, a receipt for the printer of the ad, non mineral affidavit, and testimony of witnesses that he improved the land.I was also able to obtain his will which was very informative.In addition they have newspaper articles from that early time period that are interesting.I got obits and who came to visit who's..
