My grandfather, Joseph Williams [1867-1939]an "89er", homesteaded NW Quarter, Sec. 32, Twp.19N, Range 4W of the Indian Meridian. He m. Virginia Elizabeth Wyckoff, d/o John Garrett & Marietta (Griffith) Wyckoff. Joseph was son of William Williams & Eunice Roberts of Denbighshire, Wales who immigrated to Wisconsin ca. 1869.About 1875 the family migrated to Cedar Vale, KS where William worked as a master miller.When William & Eunice retired they too moved to Logan Co. The children of Joseh & Virginia Elizabeth are: Mark Armon Williams [1895-1952] m. Ruth Frances Davis;Ralph Williams [1898-1950] m. Lula Ann Bennett;William Vaughan Williams [1899-1971] m.
