Im also looking for family of Mattie GOLDEN born 1869 Tallapoosa County,Alabama and died April 24,1897 in Marietta,Love County,Okla. Information for her sister, Martha Ann GOLDEN born same time as Mattie, April 24, 1897. I can understand they could be twins but dont understand the information that they both died on the same day also , April 23,1897??? They had been married and the information says to the same husband so this also isnt making sense. His name was Isaac Foster Fullingim. This is a hard one to figure out. Would appreciate some help! As this family as came to Marietta From Alabama just as my Great Grandmother had done, I believe they may be related. Mattie and Martha Ann GOLDENS father was James Marion GOLDEN,born January 20,1846 in Dadenville,Tallpoosa County,AL. and he died in Ardmore,Carter County,Okla., April 2,1936 and was in the Ardmore Home for Veterans and was buried at Rose Hill Cemetary I am thinking that this just may be a brother to Nicinda GOLDEN and Mattie and Martha Ann his daughters would be Nicindas nieces. The dates etc all would make sense and whom it was I got the information about James, there was no information before his time.
Appreciate some help on this. I have my Elliotts still in Marietta,Ok. if you know any of them. Would love to here from them all. My Grandmother was Annie Jane Hilton and she married Doc McHenry Elliott and they lived in Marietta until they died.
