In 1860 in Green Co Ar, St Francis Twp. July 5, 1860 pg 532 :(taken from the actual census images by a friend)
120/117 G. M. Henson 20 m farmer 800 Tenn Nancy " 20 f housekeeper Tenn
Same as above cesus info:
131/127 William Henson 46 m farmer 175 Ky Talitha " 39 f housekeeper NC Frances " 16 f Tenn Margaret " 14 f Tenn Rachel " 9 f Tenn Mary A " 6 f Tenn Nancy " 2 f Tenn
In TN 1850 found William Henson:
1850 Hardman Co. Tenn, NTL taken on the 5th day of Dec. 1850. pg 180
1584/1585 William Henson 37 m farmer 260 NC Elizabeth 31 f Tenn John 15 m " George 13 m " Green 11 m " Lucinda 8 f " Francis 6 f " Margaret 3 f "
This is the same William Henson in Green Co Ar in 1860. As you can see there is a Francis and Margaret on both censuses and the ages match. It also seems he had a first marriage with Elizabeth. Since the 1860 census only has G. M. Henson, by deduction it can't be George too old, but Green is the right age. This census taken in Dec of 1850. That means his birthday was before Dec. The 1860 Census was taken in July and he is listed as 20. That means his birthday is between 6 July and Dec 5.I am now pretty sure this is our line. Unfortunately Tenn marriages only go to 1825 and there is a gap between 1826 and 1850 and pick up again 1851 to 1900.Also found in Hardman Co. As you can see they are all within a stones throw of each other and I suspect John Henson is William Henson's father etc. Thomas and John may be William's brothers. Elizabeth may be a second marriage.
1586/1587 HENSON John 60 M Farmer 400 Ky Elizabeth 67 F Md 1587/1588 HENSON Thomas 23 M Farmer Tenn Elizabeth 22 F Ten 1590/1591 HENSON John 26 M Farmer 500 Tenn Martha 26 F Tenn Francis 6/12 F Tenn I did a A search for military records came up with:
Henson Green M. Co. D 25 Arkansas Infantry. in as a Private discharged a Private Confederate
Also found a William Henson on the Civil war index, but I don't know if this is ours. There were William Hensons who fought in Tenn and Missouri.

Henson William Co H 30 Arkansas Infantry. Private Private Confederate
Green and Nancy's daughter, Mary, died in McIntosh Co., OK abt 1910.
