Wilson Family drowned

I am searching for info on family of Zacheus Charles Wilson, he was called "Charlie" he was born about 1857, in Wright County MO. He died 1943, Hulbert,OK, Family stories state "Charlie and family were crossing a river, Charlie's wife and children were drowned, except for a daughter, lela or lula?"Has anyone heard this story? Charlie also had a brother, Zed Wilson. I need info on his family. Another brother, George Alexander Wilson was my great-grandfather, he is buried Elm Wood Cemetery, in Wagoner, OK.
