"Retired Katy Agent Dies; Rites Friday
Immanuel Betzer, 75, retired longtime station agent and telegrapher for the Katy Railroad, died here Wednesday.
Mr. Betzer worked for the railroad in the Cleveland and Cushing areas 47 years before retiring here about 10 years ago.
He was a native of Palestine, Tex.
Mr. Betzer was a member of Hebron Masonic Lodge No. 215 at Cleveland, York Rite Masonic bodies, and the Orders of Eastern Star and the Amaranth.He also was a member of Akdar Shrine in Tulsa and the White Shrine.
Surviving are his widow, Agnes; and a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Weaser of Carlsbad, Calif.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Chapman-Black Funeral Home, with burial in Woodland Cemetery."

"Saturday Services Set for Albert C. Miller
Funeral services for Albert Chester Miller, 63, of 624 1/2 N. Hester, who died in Houston, Tex., Feb. 23, 1971, will be in the First United Methodist Church here Saturday at 10:30 a.m., under the direction of the Strode Funeral Home.Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Born at Parkland (Okla.), Dec. 6, 1907, Miller was the son of A.J. and Elizabeth Miller.He was married to Irene Ballard in Stillwater, Aug. 25, 1929.
He was graduated from Cushing High School and from Oklahoma State University with a degree in educational engineering.He was head of the industrial arts department in Stillwater High School for 18 years, and since that time has been engaged in the building of homes.
Miller has been secretary of the Stillwater Junior Chamber of Commerce, and at the time of his death was secretary of the Fraternity Order of Elks, and for many years had been secretary of the Carpenters Union.
Preceded in death by a son, Harold Lee, who died July 7, 1949, he is survived by his wife and a brother, Arthur Dale Miller of Tulsa.
Bearers will be Henry Cawood, Marvin Ehlers, Marion Karr, Jack Shanklin, John Thatcher, Horace Ware Jr., Carl Marshall, Forrest Humble, Carrie Diggs and Shelly King.
Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m., Friday.
The family has said that those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society."
