My great grandparents were Isaac Jefferson Bailey and Ida L. Stewart Bailey, Ida (b)1863 near Shreveport, La.Idais parents were John Stewart and Nancy Jane Henry. Her oldest sibling Esther E.Stewart was born in 1859 and John B. Stewart, her brother, 1862 both near Shreveport, La. (It is John B. Stewart-married to Sarah Ida King, that you have just helped me on tremendously).This family moved on to Red River Co. Texas and had their last child, a daughter Sallie, born there.By 1878-79, they moved on to Indian Terr.They are of Choctaw descent.
Nancy Jane Henry Stewart died in 1895.John Stewart then married Sarah Esther Fights Yancy in Sept. 1896.They had no issue.Sarah Esther Fights Yancy Stewart was born in 1848, died 1921 and is buried side by side with my great great grandmother, Nancy Jane Henry Stewart. John Stewart died in 1915 buried close to both wives but no headstone.This is in Atoka, Atoka Co., Oklahomam Westview or City Cem. one and the same.
Robert Francis Bailey, father of Isaac Jefferson Bailey, was married to Nancy Grissom (who is buried in Grissom),Robt. Francis is buried in the Center Cem., Center, Okla. in 1897.
Esther E. Stewart married 5 times, her last husband was Z. D. Allen.She is buried Center, Cem. 1897, under the name Ester Allen.
