April 3, 1967 Page 2 ROBERT O. SHELTON ROBERT O. SHELTON, 47, 311 East 16th, died early Sunday in a local hospital. Services will be Tuesday 2 p.m. in Rinard Chapel, First Baptist Church. Dr. DAVID G. HAUSE will conduct the rites. Ada Lodge, AF&AM, will conduct graveside rites. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Criswell Funeral Home has charge.
Mr. SHELTON was born in Durant, Oct. 14, 1919, to W. O. and WILLIE WEBSTER. He attended Durant elementary school and completed high school there. He came to Ada from Oklahoma City in 1950. He and Miss HAZEL RATLIFF were married at Goree, Texas, March 21, 1943. Mr. Shelton was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Masonic lodge and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife HAZEL; two sons, ROBERT W. and KIRK, both of the home; two daughters, PATSY and CINDY, both of the home; a sister, Mrs. DORENE BURK of Greenville, Texas, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. O. SHELTON of Ada.
January 13, 1974 Page 1 'Tillie' Shelton Dies at Age 79 WYLIE TILLMAN 'TILLIE' SHELTON, 79, well known Ada oilman and rancher, died Saturday in a local hospital. Mr. Shelton attended East Central and the University of Oklahoma and received his law degree from Cumberland University in Tennessee.
He was born Feb. 13, 1894 in Tupelo, Mississippi, and came to Ada in 1911 from the Ardmore area. He was a veteran of World War I, an Elk, a Mason, and a member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.
Services for Mr. Shelton are set for Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Criswell Funeral Home.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. His first wife, CLARA LOUISE MOUNT SHELTON, died in 1934. On Sept. 12, 1948, he married EULA MARCUM in Ada. He is survived by his wife EULA of the home; one daughter, MARJORIE PEARL MARCUM of Midland, Texas; two sisters, ESTELLE DANDRIDGE of Ada and GRACE PAYNE of Seal Beach, California; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
