I'd contact a Genealogy Society in Santa Clara or Shasta Counties and see if they have a copy of the CA Death Index and ask them to check for Amanda Blanche's death. However, if she re-married, you won't be able to find it.
I'd also look in Montgomery, Wright Co., MO for Hiram and Blanche's divorce and his subsequent marriage. This family covers several decades and moved often, therefore, it's very important to get the birth, marriage, divorce and death certs to verify the Census info. Successful Searching!
