I really think that it is terrible when people can't find their family, no matter how hard they try. It is as the people never even existed and they did exist, because they has mothers, fathers, sibblings, etc...My dad died without knowing anything about his half sister and brother, Valeria and Leslie Davis. My father Dale Davis died in 1985, and I still have no clue to his sibblings yet. His father desserted the family a few times and was an alcoholic abuser, but I hear my grandmother was a little on the mean side. I don't know the truth about them, except the beatings that my dad says that he got from his parents. But my dad was not like his parents. He was a very gentle soul and loving and kind. He adored my mother and treated her like a queen, why, I will never know. But I had always hoped that I could find out about my dads sibblings for him, their mother was a Martha (Jessup) Davis, my grandfathers Ninevah Davis 2nd wife. I hear that Valeria Davis moved to California. I don't know where they wre born or when, but my dads brother Wesley was born in 1927, so I figure that Leslie and Valeria was born after that. My grandfather died in 1940 in Klamath Co., when he was struck by a train.I may have cousins that I don't even know about.Whoo knows, a lot of times when people remarry they are sometimes change and are nicer to their second family. I don't know, my grandfather died 6 years before I was born.
