Thanks Laura, what great information you found, that sure clarified a lot.But did you find a birth and death date for Cora (Weaver) Hendershott and also a date for when she married Jesse A. Hendershott?
Is it possible to get either e-mail scans or hard copies of these information sources?I especially like to get copies of the obituaries if that's the case. Also, do the numbers by the Hendershott names you listed mean the plot numbers or the page numbers in the Index by Daraleen Wade?
If it's any easier, you can e-mail me the information at: firstname.lastname@example.org and then I'm able to easily pull it into my laptop while we're on this trip.
"Here are listings for Hendershott in the Lone Oak Cemetery:
HENDERSHOTT Cora, 160 Della A., 293 George W., 294 Jesse A., 160, 293, 294 Marie, 293, 294
Index to Lone Oak Cemetery Vo. 2 Compiled by Daraleen Phillips Wade 1988 This index shows the page numbers"
Also, on your previous post, are the "SHE", as highlighted in the pargraph below, referring to Bertha (Johnson) Peterson? My head was swimming a bit on that inter-family relationships.
Thanks again for all your great help! Bobbi
"Marie Anna Hendershott was born 10 Feb 1887 in the Hazel Green area, near Salem to Nelson & Anna (Johnson) Williamson. She married Jesse Hendershott in 1915 in Salem. Marie's mother, Anna (Johnson) Williamson appears to have been a sister of Bertha (Johnson) Peterson, who is in Sec. 1 Lot 154. "SHE" is referred to in Louis Peterson's obituary as his niece. "SHE" was also his step-granddaughter as Peterson's daughter, Mathilda, married Marie's father after her mother's death."
