Roof of Home Smashed and Mother of Victim is Hurt
Hillsboro, Or., Nov. 23
Frank Atwood, 16 was killed Monday night by a tree which crashed through the roof of the family home near Buxton.His mother, Mrs. George Atwood, was injured severely by the tree, but was expected to recover.
The mother and two boys were alone in the house at the time of the accident. Mrs. Atwood is a widow, her husband having been killed by a logging locomotive near Scofield, October 10.
