Query on BEAL/BAILES/BALES/BEALE/BELL/BEALL
I am manager of the BEAL SURNAME DNA PROJECT, with the included
BEAL/BAILES/BALES/BEALE/BEALL/BEALS/BELL/BEALL DNA Studies.
I received this request for assistance, we do have participants with the surnames I have listed, but none at this moment match and provide descendants for
his query!
I would be interested in any male, living descendant with these surnames, or
who have any variation of these names, we do SOUNDEX B400 surnames in the project, please contact me by email: [email protected]
One of our objectives in our project is to validate recorded genealogy for immigrant ancestors!
We have already created Ancestral Haplotypes (genetic signatures) for many
immigrant colonial ancestors in these names.
If you have reached an impasse in your genealogy research or are interested
in helping identify, validate our Colonial forefathers and their descent to present day descendants, please contact me at [email protected] you can
help me in this endeaver.

Received this request for assistance and his desire to locate descendants of
NC & SC BEAL/BEALS/BAILES/BALES/BEALE immigrant ancestors.
His request follows:
Just a quick note and a request. My grandmother was a Bailes, and I
have been researching that line for more than thirty years. While I
am not eligible to participate in your study, I have forwarded the
notice that appeared in the RootsWeb e-newsletter to fourteen Bailes
descendants (from at least five lines that we have not yet
connected).Hopefully some of them will choose to participate or
will share the notice with other male relatives.
The Bailes family I am researching was in South Carolina by the first
decade of the nineteenth century, and probably as early as the late
1700s.I suspect a migration route westward from Chesterfield to
Lancaster to York District, and across the state line into
Mecklenburg County, NC.From there, many descendants dispersed into
other states, including Texas as early as the 1840s.
I would be interested in making contact with any Bailes descendants
who might fit into this family. Some of the earliest names are John,
Zachariah, James, Charles, Joel, Eli, William A., and Andrew.
I also have a connection to the family of Benjamin V. Beal
(1838-1908) of Lincoln County, NC, who married Ellen Blythe. They
had two sons who had sons, but I have never been able to establish
contact with those descendants.
If I can help, please let me know. And please share my name and
e-mail address with anyone who might be related to the Bailes or Beal
families of the Carolinas.
Thank you, and good luck!--John
