I have not looked for the obits, mainly because a Reasor was responsible for the transcriptions of the stones, and I still have a cousin who teaches at Grayson County College and this would make a good reason to go up for a visit.
Thanks for the tip about UT; I will get in touch with them and see if they can help. Since they both passed away before the fire, the obits would probably be the only documentation I could get.I am not aware of a family bible.
I'm aware of book you refer to.There is a second volume, printed in 1981, which we contributed to.Unfortunately, we never got a copy and I'm now trying to get it thru the library. There are four pages of text and pictures about the Reasors in the second book.I got my hands on the 1st volume about 2 months ago, and it does reference the "Reasor School" which was built by C.D. and (I believe) a Mr. Young. The land was donated by a third individual. My family has pictures of the school with the name still on the building.
If you have any other tips (other than to quit looking) I would welcome them. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
