It talks about the first 3 sons born in the 1790's that were soldiers in the War of 1812 and were in the Battle of San Jacinto. The youngest daughter: Malissa Crownover, b. Saturday, May 29, 1819, md. Ben Phillips, hero of the Battle of San Jacinto.Another daughter; Mary (Polly) Crownover, b. 1805, md. John Rabb. The article gives a history of how the bible got to Texas.
