Thanks for checking.The only info I have on the Walker's is:B. P. Walker and Lena Burke Walker, parents of Eva Lena Walker Butler, b. March 1900 d. June 1930, age 30 in Dallas, Tx, buried in the Old Oak Cliff Cemetery.I haven't been able to find the burial place.
After I posted this, I found the following on my Butler GGrandparents:James Butler, born in New York, July 1842, married Mary H. Cannon, b. Ala. June 1841, married 30 yrs., both listed on the 1900 and 1880 census in Brenham, Washington County, Tx.His father was born in Ireland and his mother in Scotland.Her parents were born in S. Carolina.The census states 7 children, 5 alive:William W. (my grandfather) b. 1872, James, Julia, Frank,Mary, and possibly a step-daughter in 1880 named Giles.He was a brick layer.
My grandparents, William W. Butler, d. 1948 and is buried in Van Zandt County, but I don't know anything about his brothers or sisters; he was also a brick layer.
I live in Dallas also and have been going to the library quite a bit lately, but I so few clues;I was hoping to locate someone who may be related or know of these families.
