CASTEEL, GEORGE Both of George Casteel's parents were born in Missouri according to the 1880 Rockwall County, Tx. Federal Census. George and his wife Bobbie are shown on the 7 June 1880 Rockwall County, Tx., Federal Census, page 603, E.D. 31. He is shown as a farm laborer. The only daughter shown on the census is Alice Casteel because George and Bobbie (Duncan) Casteel had run on hard times when they were younger and had Ide, May Belle, and Pleas Casteel. May Belle Casteel was adopted and raised by Bobbie Duncan's sister, Sarah Duncan and her husband David Bledsoe. I am not sure which members of the family raised Ide and Pleaz Casteel.
