Well, if there is a will, only the ones named will inherit. But, those wills can sometimes drive us crazy. It might say "I leave to my wife..." and never even give her first name.Or, "my wife and children", again no names -- they knew who they meant.Sometimes all but one child may be named, because that one child mayhave received the equivalent of his portion of the estate while the father was still alive.Sometimes the record will name that son and state he has already recieved his portion. If you descend from that one son he probably won't even be mentioned.(^_^) Are we having fun, yet???
If no will was recorded, then it is an intestate case and every possible heir should be included.
The Family History Library has probably microfilmed those records for Itawamba Co, MS.Check their catalog online at the http://www.familysearch.orghttp://www.familysearch.org site. You've probably used that site. And, then you can order the film out to yourlocal Family History Center(^_^)
