I don't see them on the 1920 census, but the index I use has to be an exact match to the spelling.That can be a challenge, as you can see what they did with his given name on the 1920.I tried a few combination, even looking for Samuel/Sam and Stuart etc.Since Leroy was born in TX, they should be there in 1910.
Do you have full date of death for Aaron?You can obtain a copy ofhis death certificate and it should show the names of his parents.Now, since he changed his surname, he may have been running from something in his past and the DC may not show correct info.
What is your source for the surname Sandlin?I do not find an Aaron Sandlin on the 1880 census in born between 1870 and 1880, nor a Samuel, either.
Keep in mind in your search, Agee is a surname and may be a family name back up the tree on one side or the other.
