Daisy Odell Davis Gilmore is my Grandmother who married Cleveland Carven Gilmore. They lived and died in Waco, TX.
Daisy, nicknamed "Dozie" was born July 25th, 1891. She died in Feb of 1975 in her sleep at her home in Waco. I don't have her birth place handy but I know she lived in Ft Worth and worked there and probably went to school there as well. (I have photos of her in front of Ft. Worth High School)
Here is a list of Daisy & Siblings born of John Wilkerson Davis and Mattie Alexander Davis. They moved to Lubbock Texas at some time. (someone on this forum says Mattie is buried in Ft Worth.) John W. Davis may have died Nov. 12, 1942. (I see from this forum, they were married Oct. 1st, 1890 in Ellis Co., TX.

I believe I have photos of all these Davis', I just don't know who's who! No one wrote on pictures back then! Anyone who can "fill in the blanks", let me know and....thank you
