Hi again Michelle,Were you able to find probate records for Jackson Co, FL?I tied Lawson to Anderson Sneed on census there.
Marriage records in Jackson Co, FL tied John Green to Harriett Kemp, were you able to find more on them? From her age, and marriage date, I would assume she is not the mother of Lawson.Did you look at the 1850 census for Anderson?See if he was married then.Lawson wasn't born, yet, but Anderson might show up with first wife???
Marriage records for Kaufman Co, TX show L. Sneed and Fannie Green, so you have your tie there. Were you able to find any probate or guardianship records in Kaufman Co, TX for Lawson Sneed?Or someone to do a lookup in College Mound Cemetery where several Sneeds are buried?
If anyone else reads this post and thinks they may have more Michelle, check out my response #42554 and see if you can add to it for Michelle.
I have a little suggestion, I still think you'll do better if you put something in the subject box that reaches out to researchers working on those surnames in those areas, and then include some dates, or approximate dates (something besides generalized 1890s early 1900s) in your post. Posts that are too general sound like you're not really serious, and I know you are.You now have some of those dates from my previous response.
