Shirley has found your "E.A." Sutton on the 1910 census.I went back through your message history and see where you came back to me with a Bible record showing M.J. born 11 Sept 1881, and a marriage of E.A. Sutton to M. King 11 Sep 1898.This all fits together
On the 1900 census Stone Co, AR, Edgar A. Sutton and wife Missouri (born Sep 1881) live next door to William A. King and wife Elizabeth -- parents of your gal.Edgar and Missouri were married one year (would be two in Sep), she had one child, but not living at the time of the 1900 census.
Shirley gave you 1910 census information.
1920 census Izard Co, AR:
Sutton, Edgar A., h, 44 m, b AR, AR, AR
" Misouri(sic), w, 38, m, b AR, MS, MS
" William V., s, 18, b AR
" Mattie E., d, 15, b AR
" King B., s, 12, b AR
" U.V., s, 4 ?/12, b AR
King, William A., h, 60, m , b MS, MS, MS
" Elizabeth F.,, w, 56, m, b MS, TN, TN
On same page and next page are several Kings that look like they may be grown sons of Wm & Elizabeth.
I do not have access to census index online at home for most of the 1930 census.I did check TX, no Edgar on there. You can drop that Belle Sutton you keep mentioning, according to SSDI she was born 25 Feb 1883.
Combined info from TX Dth Idx and SSDI:
Sutton, King Benjamin, b 12 Sep 1907; d 16 Aug 1985 Red River Co, TX; last residence Clarksville, Red River Co, TX; SS card issued in TX.
His birth date fits the King B. in the household of Edgar and Missouri.
I would check land records for Izard Co, AR.See if William King died there and who were his heirs?Or, if Edgar sold his land and moved on.Land records can often times be very helpful.
Happy Hunting (^_^)
