I have his ss# but have not requested the original record because most documents usually just list parent's birth places as a country, not a particular foreign state.
His death cert says he was born in Brownsville. That's the only paper I have on him.
Although he was a pharmacist, during that period you didn't need a degree, or certificate of any kind. You just opened your pharmacy.
I just ran across that Victor Ramirez you mentioned. He did have several families, so it isn't entirely out of the question. But I doubt it. My grandmother Lupe was born in 1907, Uncle David in 1909 and Uncle MIke in 1913, virtualy in the same time frame as this other Ramirez family.
He could have been a butcher before he became a pharmacist.
