I found your posting of 2001, and have information for you regarding your MGGM Isabel Chaparro. I tried to email you and call you, but the email address and phone number you have on your posting and family tree are not current.
Here is what I had sent you:
My PGGM was Herculana Carmona-Monje. She was your MGGGM's sister (Isabel Chaparro's aunt). Your MGGGM was Guadalupe Carmona-Monje. My Herculana Carmona-Monje was married to Rafael Granillo-Martinez. Herculana and her children immigrated to Marfa, Texas. I don't know if they came through El Paso or Marfa, because I've heard that there were cousins in El Paso. Herculana and Guadalupe (your MGGGM) had two sisters and a brother (that I know of or have found): Felipa Carmona-Monje (who married Blas Perez), Maria Ysabel Dolores Carmona-Monje, and Hose Higinio Antonio Carmona-Monje.
They originate from a place in Mexico called San Francisco de Borja, Chihuahua and San Lorenzo, Dr. Belisario Dominguez, Chihuahua. Did you know this? Did you know where your MGGM Isabel Chaparro was from?
Your maternal great-great grandmother Isabel Chaparro was the daughter of Guadalupe Carmona-Monje and Alvino Chaparro. Guadalupe's parents were Francisco Carmona and Jesus Monje. Alvino's parents were Ignacio Chaprro and Guadalupe Martines. Guadalupe and Alvino were married 16 Aug 1873 at San Lorenzo, Doctor Belisario Dominguez, Chihuahua. This marriage record is found in microfilm # 0162588 through the Family History Centers (Mormon Church).
