I'm pasting a cemetery data below for reference. In the 'story', the boy referred to was a Tom Huckabee/Huckaby/Huckabay ... which could have been a mispelling. The original story was printed in a 1928 version of Frontier Times; in which the man was referred to as being William SHEPPARD and his wife; and 'some' of them (very confusing I admit) were related to one Joel CHERRY/grandfather of ?????
If this posting connects with anyone of the SHEPPARD/CHERRY/HUCKABY/TANNER line, please contact me. Thank you. Chuck
