Hi Jose, Garcia is a very common surname, so you need to include a little bit about the family.I checked out your message history and almost copied and pasted a response you made last year which included a little bit of information. But, I thought you might have found more since then, so I didn't.
Benavides is in Duval Co, TX, you also mentioned Corpus Christi in that other post, it is in Nueces Co, TX.Here is a handy dandy site to locate county for TX towns/cities:
I played around a little with cenus records since Rumaldo Chavarria isn't quite as common as everyone named Garcia.
1920 census Madison Co, TX:
Chavarria, Rumaldo, hd, 25, md, b MX, MX, MX
" M____la L., wf, 20, md, b MX, MX, MX
" (Alebica ?), dau, 4 ?/12, b MX
" Juan, son, 2 2/12, b TX
" Cruz, son, ?/12, b TX
Trevino, Louis, boarder, 56, wid, b MX, MX, MX
Gonzales, George, boarder, 46, sgl, b MX, MX, MX
Rumaldo came to U.S. 1917 and is an alien
His wife came to U.S. 1917 and is an alien
First child born in MX also an alien
Louis came 1890, an alien
George came 1911, an alien
Rumaldo is a section laborer with the steam railroad
Louis and George are listed just laborer with steam railroad
I couldn't read all the letters in the name of Rumaldo's wife, but certainly looked like the name you have for her. And, name of the first child not clear, either.
I can't find Rumaldo on the 1930 census, the online censusindex I use has to match the spelling exactly.
Now, if you post a query with some given names, dates (or approximate dates) for some of your Garcia family, you might get some help.
Happy Hunting (^_^)
