Joan, I don't have any dates yet except that James Pickett died about 1953 in Arkansas I believe. He was called "Jim". My Dad, who is a grandson to James, showed me a book Saturday "July 9" that showed were the family had sold lumber and paid wages to those working for them. This was in Tx for the dates starting with 1920 and the last dates were 1931. At the end of the book it showed were they had purchased land and had a lien on it. I know that they owned land in Arkansas. My grandfather, "Othor Amon" which is James son was in Arkansas in March of 1924 because that's when he married my grandmother, Lelia Mooney. Also in the book showed that one of the sons "Charlie" and his wife Belvia lived in Bee Branch Ar.
