You'll have to give them a date range to work with, say 1932-1942 for example.Many times they ask for a specific date but will check nearby years as well.You might also try the Missouri side if the Kansas doesn't work out.
There may be a record at the New Jersey health department for the marriage of these two. That may give you something to work with if Charlotte's residence was noted.
