Hugh! Words can't express my graditude for all you have done.I never expected so much help.
My grandfather, William H. Clark- b. January 1885, and his half brother Austin Lee Clark were both living in Oklahoma for a while.Around 1910,Austin was in McAlester,Pittsburg, OK and my grandfather was in Iowa, Lincoln, OK.They kept in contact with each other until Austin moved to Texas and later my grandfather moved to California.Austin had given my grandfather a picture of himself and that was all our family had.
Then apparantly a couple of years ago one of Austin's sons tracked down an uncle on our side of the family. The son very much wanted the two sides of the family to meet and get to know each other. The uncle died before notifying other family members. All we now know is that he was a son of Austin and that he was a Catholic Priest and he had sent a picture of himself to my uncle.
I heard about the story of the son contacting our family at a family reunion about 2 months ago and I have been searching for him ever since.I think he may have been the son named Adrian born about 1912 in Oklahoma.I have a copy of his picture sitting on my computer desk.He looks a lot like his uncle, my grandfather, who died in 1953.
I am hoping he may still be alive, since my mother, Adrian's cousin, born in 1908 just passed away last year at the age of 95.
