1870 census Denton Co, TX:
Stover, Isaac, 37, b AL - land 120/personal 250 " Loucretia, 27, b TX " Flanning 16, b AR " Joseph, 13, b AR " Elizabeth, 11, b AR " Mandy, 9, b AR " Isaac, 6, b TX " Alice, 3, b TX Campbell, Sarah, 7, b TX
Now, this may be a bit of a stretch.1860 census Denton Co, TX:
Campbell, Francis A., 22, b MO - land 200/personal 200 " Pr--s L., 18, b MO
I know it says female is born in MO, but it wouldn't be the first error found on a census record. Her middle initial is L. could that be for Loucretia??Since Francis owns land I would look at land and probate records.Denton is a "burned" county, but some of the records may have survived the courthouse fire.
On the site for Civil War Soldiers and Sailors there is a Francis Campbell, Confederate, 24th Battalion, TX Inf State Troops.Do you suppose Loucretia's husband fought and died in the Civil War?Her daughter is born about 1863, right in the middle of the Civil War time period.
