Henry WESTSMale,13, son, FL, Works On Farm, NC, NC
Lona WESTSFem,7, dauTX, NC, NC
Looks like Fanny is married and out on her own.Don't know about the second son, you didn't give a name for him. Now, all the children are listed as West.We know that is wrong for Mattie/Martha and Henry, so depending on whether Lona is a West or a Davis, that would help narrow down date of death for James Davis.I'm guessing she's a West and that's why all were dittoed in with name of West, but that could be wrong. I would say the Page below, and Davis families went from FL to TX together, note each has child born in TX about the same time, one is 7 then other is 8.
Next door, is this a brother to M.C./Mary?

Looks like this Page family just came to TX recently, dau 2 years old was born in FL.
Is the Sampson Page living with James J. Page in 1870 Leon Co, FL (next to Gadsen Co.) the father of these Pages???On the 1860 census there is a Jackson the right age to fit James "J." in the household of Sampson Page.I don't have access to online census index for 1850, so can't check for others in the family.
Happy Hunting (^_^)
