On further research of the Wm.J that I found next door to Jeff--not yours; that fellow remained in the area, when yours was in IL.
BUT: I find these cemetery records: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~okmurray/cem/oaklawn_cemetery.htmhttp://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~okmurray/cem/oaklawn_cemetery.htm McAdams, Delena; Jan 6, 1858 - Jan 27, 1942, w/o Elijah McAdams, Elijah; Mar 22, 1851 - Nov 14, 1916 McAdams, Ella; Aug 4, 1873 - Oct 11, 1967, w/o John H. McAdams, John H.; Oct 6, 1876 - Jul 25, 1953 McAdams, N.E.; Mar 22, 1851 - Nov 14, 1916 McAdams, Threecer Maud; Apr 7, 1908 - Apr 14, 1909
You will notice that "N.E." and "Elijah" are the same guy. There are MANY family trees on rootsweb.com or ancestry.com for "Elijah McAdams",son of Jeptha Jefferson McAdams and Amanda Holbrook McAdams. NONE of those searches have anything on Elijah, and I'm thinking you are all looking for same man-but he's using either a first name or a middle name at various times; you might seek out those trees and conspire with the submitters!
I did find a Elijah McAdams of the right age in the 1910 Murray Co.,OK census BUT, then married to an Alice for 10 years, which would imply that he and Delena divorced--with HIM are children Frank and Pearl, of the age to match the youngest two kids in 1900.
