I think you may be right about the Z being a J.I have searched and searched for Z N Sullivin/Sullivan to no avail.Z or J Sullivan died before 1880.I found the 1880 census record:
1880 Census Upper LaFave, Yell, Arkansas; Roll: T9_60; Family History Film: 1254060; Page: 418.3000; Enumeration District: 223; Image: 0298
Elizabeth Sulivan, F, 50, Self, Farmer, AL, GA, AL, Widowed, cannot write
Jane Sulivan, F, 29, Keeping House, Dau, MS, AL, GA, Divorced, cannot write
John Sulivan, M, 13, Son, MS, AL, GA
Hatty Sulivan, F, 10, Dau, TX, AL, GA
Carley Sulivan, M, 5, Son, TX, AL, GA
Linsey Shuffield, M, 20, Son-in-law, MO, MO, MO, cannot write, Farmer
Josephin Shuffield, F, 19, Dau, MS, AL, GA
I wonder is the Jane Sullivan on this record the same Jane on the 1870 record ?Josephine died after 1930, she is on the 1930 census in Carnegie, Caddo, Oklahoma, but I haven't found her grave or death record.Since the 1880 census lists Elizabeth's birth as about 1830 I wonder if the Elizabeth Sullivan you found in one of the cemeteries is my Elizabeth ?Which cemetery did you find her in?
I have quite a bit of info on the descendants of Sarah C "Cassie" Sullivan (my gg grandmother) and Josephine Sullivan.Their ancestry and other siblings however have been quite challenging.
Thanks for your help.
