I'm in the middle of clinicals at the moment- responding via cell phone- so its difficult to take in all the information and answer accordingly. I will try ;)I am excited that you love a mystery and for your help....thank you! Thank you! Thank you. I am grateful for help. through the help of online folks I AM learning a great deal.
I understand you NEED ACCURATE INFO, names, dates, documents- I AM SO SORRY I just don't have it. Hopefully, YET!I can tell you that my great grandmother was born on a reservation (somewhere?) Her white name was Mary Williams. she was raised by a traveling preacher by the name of Williams after her tribe was burned out. My grandmother, Nannie Lucille Thomas (Yes, married to Ernest T. Evans) claimed her mother to be Choctaw/Cherokee.
I remember granny had a cousin from Durant, OK visit when I was a little kid. She was middle aged and had a young beautiful woman with her, and they brought a dress to show granny. I remember it had bells all over it. I wondered why.... I still do. I wish I knew her name! She may still be alive as the young girl surely would be and know more of Mary.
