Just in case your White does connect to Simeon White of Hall Co, GA (and possibly mine) I thought I would let you know where my Vincent came from.
In 1800 he was in Edgefield Co, SC, however, prior to that his family was in Craven Co, NC (born there in 1767).His parents were John White (prob b. abt 1835-1845) and Agnes/Aggy and, according to 1760 deeds, his grandfather was Robert White SR.
Robert SR also gave land to his other two sons, Samuel & Robert JR, in 1760.Robert SR's earliest record is his land grant in 1745 in Craven Co, NC.There was also a William White involved in a 1764 deed when my John sold the land that Robert SR gave him, but I don't know if he was another son of Robert SR's or perhaps a brother to Robert SR.
We believe that Robert JR is the Robert White in Dobbs/Lenoir Co, NC however we've not been able to track son Samuel nor the William White.I don't believe Simeon of Hall Co was a brother of Vincent's because his mother's 1793 Craven Co estate records only mentions Vincent & a younger son named Robert (b. 1775-1790 according to the 1790 census).
Because of the name Vincent/Vinson White, I'm currently looking at Albemarle & Perquimans Co, NC records.
Not that this info connects to your line, in any way, but it never hurts to know of possible connections just in case you get enough info, later on, to consider.
My 2 White lines married each other but appear to be unrelated, so I know how daunting the task can be to research them.We all need as much help, from others, as we can get!LOL
