Hi, I just spent the weekend with an older relative, he is the son of Bell Beauchamp, who was my great Aunt, and she was the oldest daughter of Hiram Pye Beauchamp, and Maude Myrtle Simmions Beauchamp, who were also the parents of my grandmother Clorene Beauchamp. they all lived on the farm in Ivanhoe Texas untill sometime in the late 30's early 40's when some of them moved to Denison and some to Bonham. In an earlier reply someone mentioned Selmon Beacuahmp, he was my great uncle, my granmothers older brother, I had always been quite fancinated with hime. Anyway I have lots of memorbilia and keeps sakes of his from during WWII that were willed to me by my Aunt Mae, his older sister. I was given a pretty extensive history a few years back about how Joseph Moore and Octavia Isabell came to live in Texas, from Louisana. I had alwasy known where my great grandpa Hiram and my great grandmother Maude were buried but I never knew where Joseph and Isabell were buried, but now I do. The Texas Archive Library has a copy of Josephs application for diabilty pension from serving in the civil war, they also have Isabell's copy after she had to apply for benefits after his death. These 2 documents give pretty good information about whrer they were born in Louisana.
