Yes, as far as we can ascertain, Julia Ann Bounds married a Carpenter, probably around 1857 as William was born in 1858 or 59, depending on which records you look at, and Laura born in 1860 or 61.Laura's grave marker at Sipe Springs Cemetary records 1861.William may have taken on SC Parker's last name, though Laura didn't.Haven't found reliable records for William to verify one way or the other yet. Phillip Jefferson is Laura's son, not Julia's, though.
Sidney and his wife were in a fatal car accident - very sad, way too young.
By any chance do you know where/when Samuel C. Parker passed? From the Census, it appears to have been between 1890 & 1900 as Julia is listed as a widow in the 1900 census. There actually appear to be two Samuel Parkers in TX at about the same time and similar in age, though one outlived the other, but pretty much definitely not the same people.
Yes, unfortunately the family name has many changes.P.J. is the son of Joel Burrough, after he graduated from medical school, his name became Burrow and all family members (Joel & his brothers) from the 1800's through the 1900's have at least four spelling variations on the name.Adds to the adventure of discovery...
Again, I really do appreciate your help - I didn't realize John was a Tailor!
