I don't know much about my grandfather Joe Morris. Joe disappeared about 1930 from Little River County, Arkansas.I have found him in 2 places using the internet, 1918 in Jackson Co., AL and 1930 Little River Co., AR. I always thought Joe was born in KY, but the 1930 census says he was born in Alabama. Joe married my grandmother Della May Sharp in Jackson County, Alabama.Della May Sharp was born in Jackson Co., AL in 1900 and her family moved to Little River Co., AR when Della was still an infant.I don't know where Della met Joe Morris, but I suspect she may have met him in Jackson Co., AL.I have no idea of why Della was in Alabama when she was 18, but Joe and Della were back in Little River Co., AR by 1924 when daughter Edna was born.Edna Morris was about 6 when her dad disappeared, Joe had left to find work in Idabel, OK and was never heard from again. ------------------- Marriage Record has this information: Groom's Name: Joe Morris Groom's Birth Date: 1875 Groom's Birthplace: Ky.
