Mrs. Pauline Stallard (Polly) Blevins
Richlands, Va. -- Mrs. Pauline Stallard (Polly) Blevins, 81, of Richlands, Va., formerly of St. Paul, Va., left us Friday, April 12, 2002, in a Richlands hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Lee County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Albert Jackson Stallard. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband, Cecil F. Blevins Sr., three brothers and two sisters. She was of the Baptist faith and was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by one duaghter, Ms. Sally Scott of Richlands; one son, Cecil Blevins Jr., of Keen Mountain, Va.; one sister, Betty Stallard of White Pine, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Kelley McClananhan of Abingdon, Va., Teresa Bible and David Brummit, both of Morristown, Tenn.; and two great grandchildren, Rachel McClananhan and Okey E. (Trey) McClananhan III, both of Abingdon; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m., today in the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff, Va., with Rev. Gerald Stacy officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2002, at Temple Hill Cemetery at Castlewood, Va.
Pallbearers will be J. A. Bandy, Kenneth E. Hess, William Wallace, Aaron Fox, Richard Bays and Hubert Stallard.
The family will receive friends after 6 p.m., today at the funeral home.
