Al, The patriot, George Major, served in the Revolutionary War 1780, 1781 and 1782. I have a hard copy of his payroll for those 3 service years and have included the 1782 data below.However, I do not know if he is the same George Major on whom you are seeking data.I am not related.
Listed in "ROLLS OF VERMONT SOLDIERS IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR 1775-1783", Volume II, 1998, page 550:
