In 1948, Russell WALTERS, Jr., lives in Richland when his father--Russell WALTERS, Sr., is buried in Chehalis after dying in a logging accident in Coos Bay, OR. His widow--Erma--remarries a BRUMFIELD and is buried beside her first husband in Chehalis. The younger man would probably have been born after 1920, but before 1930.
At the time of his father's death, his obituary says he has three sons, two living in Richland and a third serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps, but it does not name them. I am trying to contact either the sons or their descendants and have information about this family's ancestors back to the progenitor in Prince George Co., VA, in the early to mid-1700s I'll be happy to share.
