Paterson is located in the southern most part of Benton County, near the Columbia River which divides Washington and Oregon.According to the Washington Atlas & Gazetter, Samuel's land would be approximately 4 miles north of the small town of Paterson. It is flat land, with some rolling hills.
That area has primarily been wheat fields and farm land. This part of the State (Benton, Franklin, and Yakima Counties) now produce national award winning wines, and your Samuel's land is now/or is adjacent to Columbia Crest Winery. The surrounding land of the winery is apple trees and grape vineyards.Highway 221 from Prosser, runs along the property southward, to intersection of State Highway 14 in Paterson.
The names you listed are not in the local phone directory. The zip code for Paterson is 99345.Perhaps a letter addressed to the post master may give you more information.Another resource for sale of the land and it's development may be the Benton County Assessor, 620 Market Street, Prosser, Wa.99350, phone # 509-786-2046.Good Luck.
