Was there a local newspaper in Prosser in 1900-1910? Is there a marriage license apps archive for 1909/1910? Is there a city record of deaths? Is there a central archive for funeral home records for 1900-1917? Does anyone know if any funeral homes in Prosser now were in business in 1900-1917? Is there a book or books of cemetery records for Prosser 1900-1910? and finally, is there a historical society there in Prosser?
Here is what I need the info for: Between 1900 and 1909 James Ira Long died and his wife Ina Lacey Long remarried William Tustin. I found William buried in the West Prosser Cem online database. He died in 1917. I think it is the right William because in the 1910 census he is age 42 yrs with Ina age 38 years and step children, and in 1920 Ina is a widow in Yakima. William and Ina had no ch together as far as I know. I would like to find out if there are the following items for these people: 1. an Obit , death record, funeral home record ,cemetery record and/ or grave photograph for James Ira Long b. 1846 or 1853 in IL, died bet 1901-1909 in Prosser, spouse Ina lacey Long, left 4 ch James e, Amy Anna, Samuel Fred and Herbert N Long. 2. A marriage cert or app for William Tustin and Ina Long, a widow. 3.A newspaper announcement of the application or marriage of William Tustin and Ina Long 4. An Obit for 1917 for William Tustin lived in Prosser, widow Ina. A location so I can try to get a photograph of William Tustin's grave in the West Prosser cemetery.
