William Nathaniel Sturgeon, and his second wife, Fannie T. Crismond Sturgeon, raised their boys, in the Clark Co. Washington area.The sons were:Percy Nathaniel Sturgeon, Robert Brown Sturgeon, who lived in Oregon, and Jewel Edward Sturgeon.--William Nathaniel Sturgeon, born 1849, to John Calhoun Sturgeon and his first wife:Sarah Jane Helm Sturgeon.--John C. Sturgeon, born 1822, Belmont Co. Ohio, later family moved to Scioto Co. Ohio, 1838, 1850 and 1860, 1870. Children of John C. and Sarah Jane Helm Sturgeon, moved to Carroll Co. Mo., after the death of their parents.---(1)Martha Ann Sturgeon, who married Hiram G. Funk, Carroll Co. Mo., and homesteaded to Benton Co. Ark., after the Civil War.(2)-James Vorheis Sturgeon, married Isabelle Buskirk Sturgeon, and lived Carroll Co. Mo. and Kansas State.,(3) William Nathaniel Sturgeon, married Sarah Hayward Sturgeon, Carroll Co. Mo.--Children:William David Sturgeon, married Margaret Foreman Sturgeon, Carroll Co. Mo.,later moving to Mustang, Canadian Co. Oklahoma, Susan Caroline Sturgeon, married Andrew Nelson Bales, and lived Oklahoma, and Harriett Sturgeon, believed to have gone to Washington or Oregon.-(4)Catherine Virginia Sturgeon, 1855, married Christopher Wilburn and later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.-2children died childhood namely, (5)John and (6)Sarah.
