April 1893, MI.
In 1910 they were living in Portland Ward 9, Multnomah Co., OR. Edward J., b. Canada-English, 43 yrs old, immigrated 1886, naturalized before 1910 Census, marr 20 yrs, cement finisher bldgs; Ardelia May, b. Maine, 38; Clarendon F. Paxton, adopted son, b. MI, 20, single, chiffeur auto; George L., adopted son, b. MI, 17, collector sporting goods and Evelyn M., adopted dau, b. MI, 5.
In 1930 most of the family lived in Lower Coweeman, Cowlitz Co., WA. Edward J., b=Can=English, immigrated 1887, naturalized before 1930, marr @ 22, general farmer; Adelia May, b. Maine, 57, marr @ 17; George, adopted son, b. OR, 10 [that is what Census shows but doesn't make sense].
