Sadly, I have no Carey family information. The family of LESTER TERWILLIGER left Chrystal, Michigan when the youngest daughter Eva, was just 6 months old. Some of the names are familiar when I was doing Terwilliger family research. I had Terwilliger's going to Washington state from Michigan as well. The family of LESTER TERWILLIGER and my line are not directly linked, although we are distant cousins. To what degree I have no knowledge.
ETHEL TERWILLIGER is a daughter of LESTER AND ANNIE TERWILLIGER. Ethel married in 1904, not listed living with the family during the 1910 census.
I saw the Carey Researcher's post on another forum and typed out the names from the news article. It might show up in a search and ring a bell with another researcher.
ETHEL TERWILLIGER became ETHEL CAREY of Waterville, Washington
EVA TERWILLIGER became EVA SHEETS of Waterville, Washington
LAVINA TERWILLIGER became LAVINA CAVANAUGH of Wenatchee, Washington
MABLE TERWILLIGER became MABLE COURTRIGHT of Pendleton, Oregon
ABIGAIL TERWILLIGER became ABIGAIL DELAMATER of Canyonville, Oregon (at the time of the article there were 4 living sisters and 3 brothers deceased)

I could not find "Oweno" anywhere on the map but for a reference point the Grand Coulee Dam is in the Douglas County area. The Wenatchee Genealogy Society had a list of obituaries from the Wenatchee Daily World including ones for Lester Tyras Terwilliger, Annie Lou Terwilliger, Adrian Terwilliger, and Myron Terwilliger. There was also some school information on Adrian, Eva and Mable who attended the Douglas County Country School.

I did see an old pedigree page online that had LESTER TYRAS TERWILLIGER and ANNIE LOUISE DILTZ. It was in an old cache file and I don't know if there is a current page somewhere and I don't know if the information has been amended/revised/updated. It had the kids names listed as Eva, Mable, Adrian, Lavinia Terwilliger, Abigail, and Myron. Something someone would have to source and confirm.

If this belongs to anybody else, or connects. I post my information at the Terwilliger family forum. The same gal who posted here had a post at that site under Ethel (Terwilliger) Carey and her e-mail was no longer current. I checked her last e-mail and it is no longer current. She may return in the future. This might be helpful to another. There are a few name changes---some names in the "source file" are a little off. I have not come across any new active researchers for the line of LESTER and ANNIE TERWILLIGER. I saw two people looking about 5 years ago.
Nobody seems to have heard of "Oweno"---perhaps it was some kind of jurisdiction in the 1910 census and no longer exists???
