According to the 1930 US Census, Elizabeth Osterholt-Bray lived on 3rd Street in Cosmopolis, Grays Harbor, Washington. She was married to Zalmon George Bray in about 1888 (location unknown).
Zalmon would be my Great-Great Grandfather and Elizabeth a step-Great-Great Grandmother(?).He was born on 27 Oct 1849 in Honeoye, Richmond, Ontario County, NY.He later moved to the Syracuse, Otoe County, Nebraska area where he first married Ida Adeline Barber on 31 Dec 1872 in Fillmore County, Nebraska. One of his sons, Byron A. Bray/e, is my Great Grandfather.Byron's son, my Grandfather, was Morley Wendell Braye (deceased) who had 3 kids - one of which was my mother (Shirley Louise Braye-Swanstrom) who resides in Sidney, Nebraska.
The 1920 US Census shows Elizabeth (AKA "Lizzie") lived at Market Street, Aberdeen, Grays Harbor, Washington.Residing with her was a daughter - Rose Bray-Terry (then 25), 2 Grandsons (Zalman Leasy - 8; and Walter Leasy - 5), and a boarder named Hyson Christie.
The 1910 US Census shows Lizzie lived at 18th Street, Astoria City, Clotsop County, Oregon. At that time, Zalmon (husband - then 60) was shown residing there too - along with son Walter Bray (then 19) and daughter Rosey Bray (then 17).
The 1900 US Census shows Lizzie lived at Delay Street, Portland City, Multnomah County, Oregon.Located there were also Zalmon (then 50), Lizzie (then 28 - married 12 years), Walter (then 8), and Rosey (then 5).
It is said Zalmon died in 1929 in Portland City, Multnomah County, Oregon.I am looking for any information that will help me locate Zalmon and Elizabeth's descendants to work back this part of my family tree and, of course, locate any remaining relatives.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
