First, the "RAOGK" volunteers for Grays Harbor are two persons, one doesn't live there, the other does do public records...but would probably want to know WHAT record. But, give a try: http://www.raogk.com/washingt.htmhttp://www.raogk.com/washingt.htm
What you need is someone to check local records. The County Auditor would probably not do any checks without a payment, especially for no specific information known.
Robert, your email address "indicates" a WA address with a Comcast server, do you live in that area?
If so, check the local libraries for City Directories to find her name.Once it disappears, that indicates death, marriage or movement away from that area.
If you do not live there, try:

Check the databases and resources, try the "lookups"

Message board, more people post/look here than on GenForum
Do not pay anyone to look for you, unless you are rich or desperate.Don't connect to anyone that "assumes" or indicates "logical" suggestions. In genealogy, nothing is ever logical.
