Brenda, I found some new info for you and I don't know why I didn't look at this source before - there was your Norin family. The book was compiled in 1984 by the Polson Museum in Hoquiam, WA.It is titled "Chehalis County Nationality Survey 1848-1915."Each nationality was written by a different person. In the historical file of the Polson Museum, there are photo copies of the "Declaration of Intent" for 30 Swedish immigrants.
1907, July 30 - NORIN, Svante Ireneus - painter.B. 1875 in Jefleborg.Entered USA at New York, NW. 1903.
Later in the article, it states that Svante Irenius came with his aunt Cecilia Norin whose son Lars Svensson Norin was already living on the Harbor.According to this article, Lars was the father of 5 children from two marriages. One of his children wasTheodore Lwho was bornin Sept. 1904 in Aberdeen. I feel fairly certain that the article has a great deal of authenticity as it was written by my high school music teacher who lived for a time with the Lars Norin family when he was young. I also have a graduation picture of Ted Norinfrom 1923 that my husband will try to scan for you. It's very small. Would love to send the entire article via snail mail.Send me your address via my email address if you are interested.
