--------Jack----- Seattle Times February 15, 1985 The skiing Jesuit: Crystal Mountain will dedicate its new chapel Sunday in honor of the Rev. Jack Sneeringer, who until his death in 1980 was the fund-raiser for Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma. An avid skier and racing coach, Father Jack considered all skiers his ``parish'' and began holding Sunday services in 1962 in the resort's maintenance building. --
The Tacoma library has an online obituary search engine: http://search.tpl.lib.wa.us/obits/http://search.tpl.lib.wa.us/obits/It didn't show an obit for John/Jack, but it may have just not been identified.
I checked the Santa Barbara Clerk's office for recorded documents and found none for Sneeringer.
I checked the King County Recorded Documents: http://www.metrokc.gov/recelec/records/http://www.metrokc.gov/recelec/records/ and found three for Ray H, one being with a Rosemary M. --I find a Rosemary M. Sneeringer, born 1921 living at 731 Brookmere Drive, Edmonds, WA 98020.Identified also at that address is "R.H. Sneeringer".Looks like the widow of Ray.(possibly ex-spouse, keep that in mind).I would suggest a letter.
